Charity Christmas concert for children
in aid of Aktion Sternstunden
Christmas singing for families

St. Matthäus

Every year at Christmas it is the young who so beautifully capture the spirit of the season when the Munich Motet Choir invites them to communal singing in the Matthäuskirche at Sendlinger Tor. The children are as enthusiastic about listening to the Christmas songs performed by the choir as they are about singing along.

M. Palmeri: Misa Tango
F. Martin: Messe pour double chœur

St. Matthäus

“Misa Tango” by Martín Palmeri combines Christian liturgy with the typical elements of nuevo tango, creating a unique tango style mass. This is contrasted with Frank Martin’s work “Messe pour double chœr”. It is the result of the composer’s deeply personal musical connection to God.
