J.S. Bach: St Matthew Passion

St. Matthäus

The Munich Motet Choir would like you to join them in commemorating the most important day in the church year with deeply moving and highly evocative music. M. Palmeri: Misa Tango
F. Martin: Messe pour double chœur

St. Matthäus

“Misa Tango” by Martín Palmeri combines Christian liturgy with the typical elements of nuevo tango, creating a unique tango style mass. This is contrasted with Frank Martin’s work “Messe pour double chœr”. It is the result of the composer’s deeply personal musical connection to God.

Anna Haase von Brincken, mezzosoprano
